City Ave Lanes Closing For 3 Weeks

For three weeks, lane closures will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PennDOT said weekday right lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound City Avenue/U.S. Route 1in Lower Merion Township and Philadelphia for three weeks starting Monday, March 13.

The closures will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, March 31, PennDOT said.

 

 

Closures will affect City Avenue between Lapsley Lane and 54th Street/Old Lancaster Road, PennDOT said.

 

 

 

The work schedule is weather dependent.

Motorists should plan for increased travel time when heading through the work area, or consider alternate routes.

 

 

Crews from Armour & Sons Electric Inc., of Langhorne will be working traffic signal upgrades and curb ramp installations related to a $2.9 million safety improvement project.
