Keystone Property Group is moving forward with a 270-unit apartment complex and the redevelopment of an existing six-story office building at 150 Monument Road. in Bala Cynwyd that will be among the first projects to take advantage of new zoning put into place three years ago.

The mixed-use development will also involve constructing a parking structure, adding outdoor public spaces for office and residential tenants. It will become a bookend to one end of City Avenue.

Keystone has sights on creating another bookend at One Belmont Ave., where it has 12 acres to play with and is planning a mixed-use development that will “create a lot of splash,” said Bill Glazer, president and CEO of Keystone, at an annual forum of the City Avenue Special Services District. “This could make this corridor an exemplar for the entire nation.”
