LOWER MERION — New residents have arrived in the City Ave. District and officials want the public’s help in naming them.

Recently, the transformation of the City Avenue area took place with animal topiaries that have taken up residence in the district. From a baby elephant to a rhino, a standing bear, a rabbit, and more.

But officials in the City Ave District said there’s one important thing missing — their names.

To give these green giants the personality they deserve, the City Ave District is calling on the community to help name each topiary. Over the next few weeks, residents and visitors alike can vote for their favorite name options for each animal sculpture via the City Ave website and social media platforms.

Each week, a new animal and its top three name contenders will be featured online. Community members can cast their votes and follow along as the winners are revealed. It’s a lighthearted, family-friendly way to get involved and make your mark on the district’s newest and most delightful residents.
