PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 263 (York Road) between Mill Road and Green Ridge Road in Buckingham Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richmond Road) between Fir Drive and Holland Road in Buckingham Township; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Almshouse Road) between Hatboro Road and Winding Way in Northampton Township.
Chester County
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) T Old Baltimore Pike in Pennsbury Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Lenape Road) between Lenape Farm Lane and Clarks Lane in Pocopson Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Black Rock Road) between Winding River Lane and Riverwalk Drive in Phoenixville Borough; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 841 (Prospect Avenue) between Summit Avenue and Walnut Street in West Grove Borough.
Delaware County
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Lynn Boulevard and U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Providence Road) between Harvey Road and Mallard Mill Run in Nether Providence Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 352 (Sproul Road) between Rosemont Avenue and Summit Road in East Whiteland Township; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Pembroke Avenue and St. Davids Road/Chamounix Road in Radnor Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, April 20, through Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 611 (Easton Road) between West Moreland Avenue and County Line Road in Horsham Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) between Mary Waters Ford Road and Righters Mill Road in Lower Merion Township;
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Main Street) between 3rd Street and 4th Street in Green Lane Borough; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Winding Creek Lane and Sioux Avenue in Abington Township.
Philadelphia County
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Oxford Avenue) between Algon Avenue and Loretto Avenue; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Berwick Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
