PECO Energy is planning a lane closure on southbound U.S. 1 (City Line Avenue) between Kings Grant Drive and Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and approaching and through the intersection with Monument Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County beginning Monday night, August 12 for excavation and utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the lane closure will be in place Mondays through Thursdays and possibly Fridays from 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM through the end of the year.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
