Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and Organic Remedies have signed a long-term research agreement to study the therapeutic applications of medical marijuana.
The partnership unites the Philadelphia osteopathic medical school with the Pennsylvania-based operator of medical marijuana dispensaries in York, Chambersburg and Enola. PCOM was approved as a certified academic clinical research center under the regulations governing Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program in September 2018. Organic Remedies was just approved as a clinical registrant by the state, which will allow it to open three additional dispensaries.
