Lower Merion Township has named a new Parks & Recreation Director as well as a new Chief Financial officer. Township Manager, Ernie McNeely recently announced the appointments to the Lower Merion Township Staff.
Eric M. Traub to be the Township’s new Chief Financial Officer
Traub will direct the Finance Department staff and administer financial management programs. The CFO monitors the Township’s financial position, analyzes financial markets, supervises the investment of Township funds, coordinates the year-end financial audit and prepares financial models including the Township’s five-year general fund forecast. Traub will administer the development of the Township’s $100 million annual operating and capital improvement budgets.
Donna Heller promoted to be the Township’s new Director of Parks & Recreation
Heller has served as Recreation Supervisor for the Township Parks & Recreation Department since 1997. In her new position, she will report directly to McNeely. She was selected following an open recruitment process that included almost 100 applicants, narrowed down to four finalist candidates and a thorough review process.
