Lower Merion High School Ranked in State’s Top 25 STEM Schools
Four public high schools in Montgomery County have been ranked in the top twenty five schools for STEM education in Pennsylvania, according to a staff report for Philadelphia Business Journal.
Niche.com analyzed public high schools across the state to find those that create the best foundation in science, technology, engineering, and math. The rankings were based on several factors including SAT and ACT math scores, level of math proficiency, enrollment into AP math and science classes.
Lower Merion High School in Ardmore also broke the top five statewide, coming just behind Harriton in fourth place. Lower Merion’s A+ overall grade was supported by average SAT score of 1270 and average graduation rate of 98 percent.
