“Thank you for the support and assistance over the years. Narberth Ambulance is the gold standard for technical competency and organizational excellence.”- Narberth Ambulance client

The name may be Narberth Ambulance, but Narberth Ambulance is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization that is the exclusive 911 provider of emergency medical services to the Townships of Lower Merion and Haverford, along with the boroughs of Conshohocken and West Conshohocken and Narberth. With 35 square miles of service area, Narberth Ambulance responds to over 10,000 calls a year, ensuring the safety of more than 150,000 community members on the Main Line. In addition to emergency services, Narberth Ambulance also plays a crucial role in community education, offering CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed trainings to businesses and individuals. Moreover, Narberth Ambulance actively engages with the community by hosting events and organizing the annual Ardmore Rock and Ride Bike Race. Proceeds from this vital fundraiser support the purchase of a new ambulance, ensuring the continued availability of essential emergency services.  If you’re interested in enhancing your life-saving skills, you can explore their training programs, which can be found at https://cprcertificationnow.com/collections/cpr-and-first-aid-certifications. Narberth Ambulance receives 1% of its funding from its municipalities and relies on community support to ensure their lifesaving staff and equipment are at the ready whenever 911 is called. Chief Philanthropy Officer, Jeanine DiTomasso, states, “It always shocks people to learn that our funding comes from the benevolence of our community and not their tax dollars. These conversations are at the heart of our work. Once folks understand how Narberth Ambulance is a crucial part of public safety, their safety, it changes how they view our organization. It inspires them to become lifelong donors/supporters of our mission. Every community member deserves the right to call 911 and within 8 minutes, receive lifesaving services. We’ve done this for 77 years, but now, more than ever, we need residents and businesses to become partners in the safety of our Main Line and City Ave communities. We wish Santa would bring us a new ambulance this year but we are aiming to raise $250,000 to cover the costs. We invite everyone to donate in whatever amount is meaningful to them, all funds help get us closer to our goals. “
