Join us between Earth Day and Arbor Day for family-friendly activities inspired by trees.

During a tour of spring trees like magnolia and cherry in bloom, learn why trees are so necessary to city life—from cooling down hot summer temperatures to filtering out pollution in the air we breathe—and how urban forests, like Laurel Hill West’s arboretum, can provide a place of respite and renewal.

Then watch a demonstration on planting and caring for trees in your neighborhood, enjoy tree-inspired teas and snacks, and participate in nature crafts.

The first ten people registered will receive a free native tree to take home! Giveaway trees are sponsored by John B. Ward & Co. Arborists.
