Evidence-Based Strategies for Self-Care During COVID-19
It seems like everyone is talking about self-care in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, but what does the evidence say about this often-misunderstood concept? The answer might surprise you. Dr. Francine Broder, Clinical Psychologist at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, explains how self-care is not one-size-fits-all and is most effective when it’s tied to your individual values. Dr. Broder will discuss how you can discover what’s most important to you and engage in activities that will help you find pleasure and meaning despite the current climate of fear and isolation. You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how your thoughts, feelings and actions are all closely connected, and you’ll learn evidence-based strategies you can implement when you’re feeling helpless or out-of-control.
