Celebrate Vine Creek: A Family-friendly Event
Join us any time from 12-3pm on Sunday, May 23

Sponsored by the Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, the Lower Merion Conservancy,
and the SJU Institute for Environmental Stewardship.

Activities will be held at both the Cynwyd Station and Barmouth trailheads.

Learn about best practices for stormwater management. Take a guided tour along the trail, or bring your smartphone and do a self-guided tour with our interactive signage.    Check out the map to see if you live or work in the Vine Creek Watershed.
   Use the 3-D Enviroscape to learn about how pollution can be spread through a watershed.
   See which plants to use for a rain garden or downspout planter.
   Learn how to assess stream quality by identifying invertebrates living in the creek. 
   Find out how to join the Pollinator Pathway and see which plants are most beneficial for butterflies and other insects.
   At the end of your visit, complete a short quiz and get free seeds of a native pollinator plant.
