In cooperation with City Ave District and Bala Avenue of the Arts, Lower Merion Township is developing an arts plan for Bala Avenue. The plan will chart a future for a more creative corridor by exploring ideas for creating new public artworks and artistic and cultural programs on Bala Avenue.
The art plan is a strategic document that creates an artistic vision for an area. It will be developed based on input from community members like you and reflect your community’s interest in the arts and the physical opportunities for creating new works of art. The arts plan will guide future art investments from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors.
Art is a great way to bring a community together and create a creative identity for a neighborhood. Public art and creative programs are part of the toolkit to make a livelier and more welcoming space for everyone.
Please take this 10-question survey and tell us what you think. The survey will remain open until August 12, 2024.
For more ways to participate, be sure to visit the Bala Avenue Arts Festival on Sunday, September 15!
