City Ave District, in collaboration with Bala Avenue of the Arts and Art Star, will hold the 2nd annual Bala Avenue Art Walk on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm in Downtown Bala Cynwyd. The event will host over 30 art vendors from across the region, delicious food, live music, interactive arts and crafts, and a historical marker dedication: Women of Idenlea: the Stone Queen Anne house built in 1896 by Dr Myers which still stands, at 18 N Highland Ave.

For this event, Bala Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Montgomery Avenue and Cynwyd Road from 10:00am on Sunday, September 15th until 5:00pm on Sunday, September 15th. Vehicles can utilize alternate routes on Conshohocken State Road or Bryn Mawr Avenue. Through traffic will also be closed on Highland Avenue between Bala Avenue and Cynwyd Road. Vehicles can utilize the alternative route on Cynwyd Road.

Public parking for this event can be found at the Cynwyd Station lot, Bala Gym lot, and on the streets surrounding the event. The parking garage located at 215 Bala Avenue will be reserved for vendors and event staff.
