U.S. 1 (City Avenue) to be resurfaced in Delaware and Montgomery counties next week

PennDOT announced that U.S. 1 (City Avenue) will be resurfaced between the Delaware County line and Haverford Avenue in Haverford Township and Lower Merion Township from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists will face daytime single-lane closures while crews repair and resurface the deteriorated section of U.S. 1.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. The free, around-the-clock service provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 700 traffic cameras.
